Mother’s Day is quickly approaching as we all know. We have compiled a list of 12 reasons why she deserves the best on March 15th:

  1. She can power clean the house in 5 minutes if someone decides to drop by without notice
  2. She will listen to overly descriptive drama, and sound interested (“So then he was like, and then I was like, and then she was like, and then she did this!!!”)
  3. She will be your personal taxi driver, for FREE… (Seriously, be grateful!)
  4. mom driving kidsShe will be able to make a meal out of leftover roast chicken, a half leftover pepper and peanut butter.
  5. She knows what sibling jealousy means and becomes a Chemistry Master when it comes to pouring fruit juice (“HEY!! Jamie got more than me!! NOT FAIR!”)
  6. She knows how to use “On the way back” when the kids are being bratty
  7. She cannot sleep until she knows everyone is home safely. She wonders why she looks tired all the time!
  8. She knows best. Every single time. Just because.
  9. She can find literally anything, anywhere. Nothing is ever lost for long.
  10. She will LIKE all of your Facebook posts and comment “Mom-ish” things for your friends to call you on.
  11. She will write “LOVE, MOM” at the end of every text message, like we couldn’t possibly know who the message is from otherwise. It will also take her a little more time to “get with the kids”, in a lovable way:mom texting funny
  12. She is a teacher, a nurse, a cook, a shoulder to cry on. She is your best friend and sometimes your enemy. She has the ability to annoy and embarrass you beyond reason. She is all of the above, and certainly irreplaceable.
